All participants must be current high school students that are accompanied by their sponsoring teacher.
It's a good idea to practice before the competition begins. The format can be very challenging, both mentally and physically. The prompt will be provided on Friday at the Developer Reception. Development teams are encouraged to plan and practice before the start. They will be able to work on the game any time during development hours, right up until the judging begins on Sunday. We will be running the games in-engine, so they don't lose development time on publishing.
The judging panel will consist of outside industry experts and local business professionals.
We will be using screenshots and clips from the games to show off your great work, but you are welcome to take the game with you. You will be responsible for any licensing related to use or further production. All competitors will be provided with a jump drive, so that they can take their game with them.
